<Text>This Order brings into force further provisions of the Employment Act <Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/ukpga/2002/22" id="c00001" Class="UnitedKingdomPublicGeneralAct" Year="2002" Number="0022">2002 (c. 22)</Citation>.</Text>

<Text>Section 50 and Schedule 6 (use of information for, or relating to, employment and training) as well as other provisions which are consequential on the coming into force of that section and Schedule, are brought fully into force on 9th September 2002. These provisions allow the Department for Work and Pensions to have supplied to them, and to use, information relating to a person’s employment and training. They also allow the Department to have access to tax information held by the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise for the purpose of preventing fraud, both by those contracted to deliver employment and training programmes and by participants in those programmes.</Text>
