(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order applies to the whole of the Borough of Brentwood with the exception of the following roads:
(a)the A12 road for the whole of its length within the Borough of Brentwood;
(b)the A127 road for the whole of its length within the Borough of Brentwood; and
(c)the M25 motorway for the whole of its length within the Borough of Brentwood.
The Order designates the Borough of Brentwood as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. It also applies with modifications various provisions of Part II of that Act to the designated area and modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
