This Order brings into force on 12th August 2002 the remaining sections of Chapter 1 of Part 1 (on the spot penalties for disorderly behaviour) of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001. It also brings into force section 127 (pensions for ACPO staff) of the Act on 1st September 2002.
