The Financial Assistance for Environmental Purposes (No. 2) Order 2002

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 153(4) of the Environmental Protection Act 19901, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Financial Assistance for Environmental Purposes (No. 2) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 27th August 2002.

Variation of section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 19902.

In section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 19902 (purposes for which financial assistance may be given), after paragraph (pp) there shall be inserted—

“(qq)
the fund known as the Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund;”.

This Order varies section 153(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 so as to confer power to give financial assistance to, or for the purposes of, the Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund.
