<Title>Citation, commencement and extent</Title>

<Text>These Regulations may be cited as the Education Standards Fund (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st August 2002.</Text>

<Text>The Education Standards Fund (England) Regulations 2002<FootnoteRef Ref="f00002"/> shall be amended as follows.</Text>

<Text>In regulation 2(1), there shall be inserted after “obtained at least 5 grades A* to C;”—</Text>

<Text>Enabling schools, through the use of electronic learning credits provided by the Department for Education and Skills, to secure access for teachers and pupils to online learning materials, such as are demonstrated on the Department for Education and Skills' internet portal for the scheme known as Curriculum Online;</Text>

<Pnumber>f</Pnumber>

<Text>The study and evaluation of the impact on educational standards and on the workload of teachers of ICT equipment, in particular through—</Text>

<Text>the provision of interactive whiteboards to support strategies to improve standards in literacy and numeracy in primary schools, and</Text>
