Coming into force
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 12(2), 16(3), 31(7) and 118(5) to (7) of the Care Standards Act 20001, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
Citation, commencement and extent1

These Regulations may be cited as the National Care Standards Commission (Fees and Frequency of Inspections) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 1st July 2002.

These Regulations extend to England only.
Amendment of the National Care Standards Commission (Fees and Frequency of Inspections) Regulations 20012

The National Care Standards Commission (Fees and Frequency of Inspections) Regulations 20012 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.

In regulation 2 (interpretation), in the definition of “new provider”, in head (a), for “1st July 2002” substitute “1st September 2002”.

In regulation 3(3)(a) (registration fees), for “1st July 2002”, substitute “1st September 2002”.
