<Text>These Regulations may be cited as the Gaming Clubs (Bankers' Games) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 17th June 2002.</Text>

<Text>The Gaming Clubs (Bankers' Games) Regulations 1994<FootnoteRef Ref="f00002"/> are amended as follows.</Text>

<Text>For regulation 13(10) and (11)<FootnoteRef Ref="f00003"/> substitute—</Text>

<Text>If an opposing player has made an Ante wager and a Play wager and, upon the hands being revealed, the player’s hand is outranked by the banker’s hand and—</Text>

<Pnumber>a</Pnumber>
<P3para>
<Text>the banker’s hand contains a Queen or better, then the player shall lose both his Ante and Play wagers;</Text>
</P3para>
</P3>
<P3>
<Pnumber>b</Pnumber>
<P3para>
<Text>the banker’s hand does not contain a Queen or better, then the player’s Ante wager shall win and be paid at 1 to 1 and his Play wager shall be returned to him.</Text>

<Pnumber>11</Pnumber>
<P2para>

<Text>These Regulations amend the Gaming Clubs (Bankers' Games) Regulations 1994 (<Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1994/2899" id="c00002" Class="UnitedKingdomStatutoryInstrument" Year="1994" Number="2899">S.I. 1994/2899</Citation>) to correct a defect introduced by amending regulations (<Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/2002/1130" id="c00003" Class="UnitedKingdomStatutoryInstrument" Year="2002" Number="1130">S.I. 2002/1130</Citation>). It is now provided that in Three Card Poker where a player’s hand is out-ranked or equalled by a banker’s hand which does not contain a Queen or better, the player’s Ante wager will win and his Play wager will be returned to him.</Text>
