The Social Security Fraud Act 2001 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2002

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 20(1) of the Social Security Fraud Act 20011 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation1.

This Order may be cited as the Social Security Fraud Act 2001 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2002.

Appointed day2.

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 3 of the Social Security Fraud Act 2001 (code of practice about use of information powers) is 28th January 2002.

This Order provides for the coming into force of section 3 of the Social Security Fraud Act 2001 (which makes provision in relation to a code of practice about the use of information powers). Section 3 is commenced on 28th January 2002.

This Order does not impose a charge on business.
