HEALTH CARE AND ASSOCIATED PROFESSIONS

This Order brings into force on 1st April 2002 section 60(3) of the Health Act 1999 (partially) and repeals in Schedule 5 to the Act (partially). The effect is that certain provisions in the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1997 and the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Act 1960 are repealed in consequence of the coming into force of the Nursing and Midwifery Order 2001 (S.I. 2002/253) and the Health Professions Order 2001 (S.I. 2002/254). Other provisions in the 1997 and 1960 Acts were repealed by virtue of S.I. 2001/1985.
