These Regulations revoke the regulations listed in Part 1 of the Schedule and the regulations listed in Part 2 of the Schedule in relation to England. The regulations revoke prescribed initial instruments and articles of government for further education corporations. All the initial instruments and articles of government for further education corporations in England have since been replaced by orders under section 22 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (as amended by paragraph 23 of Schedule 9 to the Learning and Skills Act 2000 (c. 21)). Consequently the regulations listed in Part 1 of the Schedule have ceased to have effect and the regulations listed in Part 2 of the Schedule have ceased to have effect in relation to England.

1992 c. 13. By virtue of S.I. 1999/672 the powers conferred by section 21 are exercisable by the Secretary of State only in relation to England; see section 61 for the meaning of “regulations”.
