This Order authorises London Underground Limited to construct works and compulsorily to acquire land for the purpose of making an extension to its Piccadilly Line from the Central Terminal Area of Heathrow Airport to the proposed site of the new Terminal 5 building. The Order also confers ancillary powers in connection with the construction and operation of that extension including the power to enter into agreements with Heathrow Airport Limited.
