The District of East Riding (Electoral Changes) (Amendment) Order 2002
And whereas the Secretary of State has decided to give effect to those recommendations;
Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the District of East Riding (Electoral Changes) (Amendment) Order 2002.

This Order shall come into force on the day after that on which it is made.

In the table in Schedule 1, in column 2 (area of ward)—
(a)
in relation to the entry in column 1 for the ward of Tranby, there shall be inserted “The parish of Anlaby with Anlaby Common”; and
(b)
in relation to the entry in column 1 for the ward of Willerby and Kirk Ella, there shall be inserted “The parishes of Willerby and Kirk Ella”.
In order to give full effect to recommendations by the Local Government Commission for England for electoral changes in the District of East Riding, this Order corrects an error in the District of East Riding (Electoral Changes) Order 2001 by inserting into Schedule 1 to that Order a description of the parishes forming the area of the wards of—
Tranby; and
Willerby and Kirk Ella.
