Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and by section 5(1) of, and paragraph 29(1) of Schedule 2 to, the National Health Service and Community Care Act 19902 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, considering it appropriate in the interests of the health service to make this Order3, and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 29(3) of Schedule 2 to the latter Act4, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the North East Lincolnshire and the Scunthorpe and Goole Hospitals National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.
Dissolution of NHS trusts2.
(1)
The North East Lincolnshire National Health Service Trust established by the Grimsby Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 19925 is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
(2)
The Scunthorpe and Goole Hospitals National Health Service Trust established by the Scunthorpe and Goole Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 19926 is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.

This Order dissolves on 1st April 2001:
the North East Lincolnshire National Health Service Trust;
the Scunthorpe and Goole Hospitals National Health Service Trust.
This Order should be read in conjunction with the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 2000.
