<Text>WHEREAS in pursuance of section 2(3) of the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Act 1960<FootnoteRef Ref="f00001"/> the Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine has made rules entitled “The Registration (Amendment) Rules 2000”:</Text>

<Text>AND WHEREAS such rules shall not come into force until confirmed by Order of the Privy Council:</Text>

<Text>The Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine, in exercise of its powers under section 2 of the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Act 1960<FootnoteRef Ref="f00002"/>, hereby makes the following rules:—</Text>

<Text>These rules may be cited as the Registration (Amendment) Rules 2000.</Text>

<Text>The Registration Rules 1962 (scheduled to the Professions Supplementary to Medicine (Registration Rules) Order of Council 1962<FootnoteRef Ref="f00003"/>, and as subsequently amended) shall be further amended as follows:—</Text>

<Text>in rule 16(i), after “31st July 1967” there shall be inserted “the Paramedics Board before the 31st August 2000”; and after “30th September 1998” there shall be inserted “the Clinical Scientists Board before the 30th September 2000, the Speech &amp; Language Therapists Board before the 30th September 2000”.</Text>
