<Text>These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 28th March 2001.</Text>

<Text>The Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) Regulations 1999<FootnoteRef Ref="f00003"/> are hereby amended as follows—</Text>

<P><Text>These Regulations amend the Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) Regulations 1999 (<Acronym Expansion="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</Acronym> <Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1999/930" id="c00001" Class="UnitedKingdomStatutoryInstrument" Year="1999" Number="0930">1999/930</Citation>, as amended by S.I. <Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/2000/1012" id="c00002" Class="UnitedKingdomStatutoryInstrument" Year="2000" Number="1012">2000/1012</Citation>) in order to exempt additional wireless telegraphy equipment from the requirement to be licensed under section 1(1) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act <Citation URI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/ukpga/1949/54" id="c00003" Class="UnitedKingdomPublicGeneralAct" Year="1949" Number="0054">1949 (c. 54)</Citation>. Such equipment are stations established or used and apparatus installed or used in relation to the following systems or services:</Text>
