The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (England) Order 2001

Coming into force at 5.00 p.m. on 28th February 2001
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 7(1)(a), (b), (c) and (d), 7(2) and 23(f) and (g) of the Animal Health Act 19811, and now vested in him2, makes the following Order—

Title, commencement and extent1.

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (England) Order 2001 and shall come into force at 5.00 p.m. on 28th February 2001.

(2)

This Order shall apply to England only.

Amendments to the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 19782.

The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 19783 (“the 1978 Order”) shall be amended by adding the entries listed in the Schedule to this Order to Schedule 1 to the 1978 Order.

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, which applies in England only (article 1(2)), amends the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978 (S.I. 1978/32), referred to in this Order as “the 1978 Order”.

This Order (article 2 and the Schedule) amends Schedule 1 to the 1978 Order by adding to that schedule several entries for other approved disinfectants.

A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared in respect of this Order.
