Section 10 of the Registered Designs Act 1949 (compulsory licence in respect of registered design) shall be omitted.

In section 11A of that Act6 (powers exercisable for protection of the public interest), in subsection (3) (power to ensure licences available as of right)—
a
paragraph (b) and the word “or” immediately preceding it shall be omitted; and
b
the words from “or may, instead” to the end of the subsection shall be omitted.
