In section 44(1)33 (interpretation)—

a

omit the definitions of “article”, “artistic work”, “corresponding design” and “set of articles”;

b

in the definition of “design”, for “section 1(1)” substitute “section 1(2)”;

c

at the appropriate places insert—

  • “complex product” has the meaning assigned to it by section 1(3) of this Act;

  • “national unregistered design right” means design right within the meaning of the Design Right Act 1991 (an Act of Tynwald)34;

  • “product” has the meaning assigned to it by section 1(3) of this Act;
