Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 (c. 16)

Repeal of unnecessary provisions

364.  The following provisions of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001(1) are repealed—

(a) in section 56(5), paragraphs (c), (d) and (e);

(b) in section 57(1), paragraphs (e), (h) and (j);

(c) in section 66(5), paragraphs (a), (c) and (e);

(d) in section 68(2), paragraphs (b), (d) and (e);

(e) in Schedule 1, paragraphs 32, 40 and 43; and

(f) in Schedule 2, in paragraph 16(2), paragraphs (a), (b), (c) and (d).

By virtue of paragraph 26 of Schedule 2 to the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001, section 426 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 has effect as if the provisions referred to in subsection (2)(b) included the provisions of Part 2 of the 2001 Act.
