Section 109 of the County Courts Act 1984 (administrative expenses of garnishees and others) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1)218—

a

for “any deposit-taking institution, the institution” substitute “a deposit-taker, it”;

b

for “the administrative and clerical expenses of the institution” substitute “its administrative and clerical expenses”; and

c

the words “of an institution” are repealed.

In subsection (1A)219—

a

for “any such institution as is mentioned in that subsection” substitute “a deposit-taker”; and

b

for “the institution” substitute “it”.

In subsection (4)(c)220, for “deposit-taking institution” substitute “deposit-taker”.
