The Parish Councils (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2001

The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 50(1) and (4), 81(2) and (3), and 105(2), (3) and (4) of the Local Government Act 20001, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having carried out such consultation as is required by virtue of section 49 of that Act, and being satisfied that this Order is consistent with the principles for the time being specified in an order2 under section 49(1) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
