FINANCIAL SERVICES AND MARKETS

This Order brings into force on 19th October 2001 section 402 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (power of the Authority to institute proceedings for certain offences), for the purposes of proceedings for offences under prescribed regulations relating to money laundering. The Money Laundering Regulations 1993 (S.I. 1993/1933, as amended) were prescribed for the purposes of section 402 by S.I. 2001/1819.
