Citation, commencement and interpretation1.
(1)
This Order may be cited as the Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment (No.2) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 24th September 2001.

In this Order—
“the trust” means the National Health Service trust established by the principal Order;
Amendment of the NHS trust Establishment Order2.
“Nature and functions of the trust3.
(1)
The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1) of the Act.
(2)
The trust’s functions shall be to provide goods and services, namely community health services, for the purposes of the health service, at or from Central Health Clinic, East Park Terrace, Southampton SO14 0YL;
and at or from any associated hospitals, establishments and facilities.”
Revocation of the Establishment Amendment Order3.
The Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2001 is hereby revoked.

This Order amends the Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 (“the principal Order”) which established the Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (“the trust”). This Order substitutes a new article 3 in the principal Order specifying that the trust has the function of providing community health services from a specified site (article 2). This Order also revokes the Southampton Community Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2001 (“the Establishment Amendment Order”) which contained errors.
