In regulation 2 of the Definition of Independent Visitors (Children) Regulations 1991(1) (independent visitors), in sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (a), after “elected or co-opted”, there shall be inserted “, or a council manager of the local authority (within the meaning of section 11(4)(b) of the Local Government Act 2000 (local authority executives))”.
