Pt. 2reg. 1(1) 2001 No. 220 NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, ENGLAND The Lincoln District Healthcare and the South Lincolnshire Healthcare National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2001 Made 28th January 2001 Coming into force 1st April 2001 The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977 and by section 5(1) of, and paragraph 29(1) of Schedule 2 to, the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, considering it appropriate in the interests of the health service to make this Order, and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 29(3) of Schedule 2 to the latter Act, hereby makes the following Order: Citation and commencement 1 This Order may be cited as the Lincoln District Healthcare and the South Lincolnshire Healthcare National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001. Dissolution of <Acronym Expansion="National Health Service">NHS</Acronym> trusts 2 1 The Lincoln District Healthcare National Health Service Trust established by the Lincoln District Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993 is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked. 2 The South Lincolnshire Healthcare National Health Service Trust established by the South Lincolnshire Community and Mental Health Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked. This Order dissolves on 1st April 2001 the Lincoln District Healthcare National Health Service Trust and the South Lincolnshire Healthcare National Health Service Trust.

It should be read in conjunction with the Lincolnshire Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 2001 which establishes a new NHS trust.
