The Housing Act 198876 is amended as follows.

After section 76(6) (vesting of land by order in housing action trust) is inserted—

In paragraph 9(7) of Schedule 10 (housing action trusts: land) for the words “the Post Office” are substituted the words “the universal service provider (within the meaning of the Postal Services Act 2000) who provides a universal postal service (within the meaning of that Act) for the area in which the land is situated”.
