<dc:description>These Regulations revoke the Tetrachloroethylene in Olive Oil Regulations 1989, as amended, which applied in England and Wales and made provision for the enforcement of Article 1 of Commission Regulation (EEC) No. 1860/88 on the establishment of special marketing standards for olive oil (OJ No. L166, 1.7.88, p.16) which set a limit for tetrachloroethylene, a volatile halogenated solvent. That Commission Regulation was revoked by Commission Regulation 3009/91 (OJ L286, 16.10.91, p.19) and limits on volatile halogenated solvents were instead included in Commission Regulation (EEC) No. 2568/91 (OJ No. L248, 5.9.91, p.1) enforcement of which was provided for in the Olive Oil Marketing Standards (Amendment) Regulations 1992 (S.I. 1992/2590).</dc:description>
