The Secretary of State for Health, in the exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 16A(1), (2) and (3) and 126(4) of, and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 5A to, the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation1.

(1)

This Order may be cited as the South Peterborough Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2000 and shall come into force on 4th April 2000.

(2)

In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires—

“the principal Order” means the South Peterborough Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Order2.

Amendment of the Schedule to the principal Order2.

In the Schedule to the principal Order—

(a)

after “Wittering” insert “, Peterborough South”; and

(b)

at the end add the following—

“In the District of Fenland—

  • the electoral wards of Whittlesey Bassenhally, Whittlesey Central, Whittlesey East, Whittlesey Kingsmoor, Whittlesey South, Whittlesey West.

In the District of Huntingdonshire—

  • the electoral wards of Elton, Yaxley, Farcet, Stilton.”.
