The Water and Sewerage (Conservation, Access and Recreation) (Code of Practice) Order 2000

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Water Industry Act 19911, after consultation with the bodies and other persons mentioned in section 5(4) of that Act, and the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food acting jointly in exercise of powers conferred by section 9 of the Environment Act 19952, after consultation with the bodies and other persons mentioned in section 9(3) of that Act, hereby make the following Order:
