A person holding office immediately before 22nd February 2000 as a member of the Central Arbitration Committee, in accordance with his appointment under section 260 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992(1), shall be treated on and after that date as if he had been appointed in accordance with that section as amended by section 24 of the Employment Relations Act 1999.
