The Enforcement of Warrants (Disclosure of Information) Order 2000
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Enforcement of Warrants (Disclosure of Information) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 8th January 2001.
Specification of relevant public authorities2.
The Secretary of State for Social Security shall be a relevant public authority for the purposes of section 125C of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 (disclosure of information for enforcing warrants).

Section 125C of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980, as inserted by the Access to Justice Act 1999, provides for a justices' chief executive to apply to a relevant public authority for basic personal information for the purpose of enforcing certain warrants. This Order specifies that the Secretary of State for Social Security is a relevant public authority for this purpose.
