This Order designates a part of the borough of Bedford as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991.
The area designated is specified in article 3. Article 3(3) and Schedule 2 clarify the extent to which each road which crosses the area boundary is included in the designated area.
The Order also applies with modifications various provisions of Part II of the 1991 Act to the designated area and modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
