The location and general design of the bridge are shown on the plan CWBZ90024/HAPP/01 annexed hereto.
From a point on the west bank of the River Wensum at Old Barge Yard 72 metres east of the junction of Old Barge Yard and King Street 300 metres downstream of Foundry Bridge, Norwich.
To a point on the east bank of the River Wensum at The Street 140 metres south-west of the junction of Riverside and Koblenz Avenue, Norwich.
Three spans with a main river span of 21.2 metres and east and west approach spans of 10.2 metres and 7.0 metres respectively.
Not less than 3.1 metres above the mean high water spring tide level (MHWS) of 1.0 metre when the bridge is in its closed position.
A minimum clear navigable waterway of 15.0 metres.
The bridge deck has an overall width of 5.5 metres and will carry a 1.5 metre cycleway, with a footway of 1.5 metres width on either side.
