Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 19902 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after completion of the consultation prescribed under section 5(2) of the latter Act3, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the East Gloucestershire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2000 and shall come into force on 14th October 2000.

Amendment of NHS trust Establishment Order2

In sub-paragraph (b) of article 3(2) of the East Gloucestershire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 19904 (nature and functions of the trust), for the words “Burlington House, Lypiatt Road, Cheltenham GL50 2QN” substitute the words “Trust HQ, Number 1 College Lawn, Cheltenham GL53 7AG”.

This Order amends the East Gloucestershire National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1990 (“the Establishment Order”) which established the East Gloucestershire National Health Service Trust.

The Establishment Order is amended by the substitution in article 3(2)(b) of a new address for the Trust’s headquarters premises.
