BUILDING AND BUILDINGS ENGLAND AND WALES
These Regulations are made under the Building Act 1984 (“the Act”). They revoke and replace with amendments the Building (Approved Inspectors etc.) Regulations 1985 (“the 1985 Regulations”) and consolidate all subsequent amendments to those Regulations.

PART VIIPUBLIC BODIES
Public body’s final certificate27
1
The prescribed form of a public body’s final certificate13 shall be form 12 in Schedule 2 and the grounds on which a local authority shall reject a final certificate are those prescribed in Schedule 8.
2
The period within which a local authority may give notice of rejection of a public body’s final certificate is ten days beginning with the day on which the certificate is given.
