The Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 2000

This Order may be cited as the Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 12th June 2000.

In this Order “the 1968 Act” means the Gaming Act 1968.

It is hereby directed that paragraphs (b) and (e) of section 21(2) of the 1968 Act (conditions on which gaming for prizes is permitted at licensed club premises) shall have effect as if—

This Order (which extends to England and Wales and Scotland) increases the monetary limits specified in sections 20(8) and 21(2) of the Gaming Act 1968 (c. 65) and described in articles 2 and 3 of the Order.
