Whereas it has been recommended to Her Majesty in Council to make this Order following consultation with the British Wool Marketing Board;
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Scotland Act 1998 (Cross-Border Public Authorities) (British Wool Marketing Board) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 24th May 2000.
Amendment of the Scotland Act 1998 (Cross-Border Public Authorities) (Adaptation of Functions etc.) Order 19992.

This paragraph applies to any function exercisable by a Minister of the Crown under the 1958 Act to make an Order revoking, or an Order approving an amendment or consolidation of, the Scheme approved by the principal Order.”.
This Order amends the Scotland Act 1998 (Cross-Border Public Authorities) (Adaptation of Functions etc.) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/1747) in relation to the British Wool Marketing Board.
It provides that paragraph 3 of Schedule 5 to that Order applies to functions of a Minister of the Crown to make an order revoking, or an order approving an amendment or consolidation of, the British Wool Marketing Scheme under the Agricultural Marketing Act 1958 (c. 47).
This Order will come into force on 24th May 2000.
