The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 19911 and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19842, and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:–
Commencement and citation1
This Order may be cited as The A1 Trunk Road (Barnet) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 Experimental Variation Order 1999, and shall come into force on 9th April 1999.

The A1 Trunk Road (Barnet) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 and Amendment slip3 is varied by the following provision of this Order.
