Whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by a resolution of the House of Commons1;
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by sections 112(1) and (2), 113, and 129(1) of the Scotland Act 19982, and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Scotland Act 1998 (Transitory and Transitional Provisions) (Appropriations) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.
Appropriation of sums forming part of the Scottish Consolidated Fund2

The sums specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this Order (amounting in total to £14,038,349,000) are appropriated for the year ending on 31st March 2000 out of sums forming part of the Scottish Consolidated Fund for the several purposes respectively specified in the corresponding entry in column 1 of the Schedule.

There are appropriated in aid of the sums appropriated by this article for the several purposes specified in column 1 of the Schedule the sums respectively specified in the corresponding entry in column 3.
