The Environment Protection (Overseas Territories) (Amendment) Order 1999

This Order may be cited as the Environment Protection (Overseas Territories) (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 9th April 1999.

“Duty of Governor to supply information relating to licences issued

The Governor shall furnish to any person, on payment of such reasonable fee as the Governor may determine, the particulars, in respect of any licence issued by him under section 5 or section 6 above, that are specified in relation to that licence in Part I or Part II of Schedule 4 to this Act.”
This Order extends to the British Antarctic Territory and the British Indian Ocean Territory the provisions of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 which control the deposit of substances and articles in the sea and under the sea bed.
