PROBATION

This Order amends the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/1713) to take account of the combination of the petty sessional divisions of North Wiltshire and West Wiltshire to form the new petty sessional division of North West Wiltshire and the combination of the petty sessional divisions of Kennet and Salisbury to form the new petty sessional division of South East Wiltshire. The petty sessional division of Swindon is not affected by this Order. The changes to the petty sessional divisions in question are effected by the Petty Sessional Divisions (Wiltshire) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/1500), as amended by the Petty Sessional Divisions (Wiltshire) (Amendment) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/1850), which comes into force, subject to certain exceptions, on 1st January 2000.
