SCHEDULE 23 TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS IN RELATION TO THE SOCIAL FUND

1.  An application to–

(a) the social fund shall, from 29th November 1999, be determined by an appropriate officer;

(b) to a social fund officer for a review shall, from 29th November 1999, be treated as an application for a review by an appropriate officer.

2.  A determination of a social fund officer shall be treated as a determination of an appropriate officer from 29th November 1999.

3.  In this Schedule “appropriate officer” has the meaning it bears in section 36(1).
