The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of power conferred by sections 16 and 20(4) of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 19991 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order—

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) (Appeals: Ending of Transitional Period) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 28th November 1999.

End of transitional period, England and Wales2.

For the purposes of section 20(1) to (4) of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999, the day appointed for the end of the transitional period for England and Wales is 28th November 1999.
