The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities previously managed by the former Central Manchester Health Authority resulting from the establishment of the Manchester Central Hospitals and Community Care National Health Service Trust2, now called the Central Manchester Healthcare National Health Service Trust3, having consulted the Manchester Health Authority and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Central Manchester Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 6th September 1999.

In this Order–
“the Authority” means the Manchester Health Authority;
“the Trust” means the Central Manchester Healthcare National Health Service Trust;
“the trust property” means the property specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by, agreed upon by and signed on behalf of the Authority and the Trust on 21st April 1999.

On 6th September 1999 the trust property shall be transferred from the Authority to the Trust.
