The National Lottery Charities Board (Increase in Membership) (Revocation) Order 1999

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 1 of Schedule 5 to, and section 601 of, the National Lottery etc. Act 19932, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the National Lottery Charities Board (Increase in Membership) (Revocation) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 26th July 1999.

Revocation2

The National Lottery Charities Board (Increase in Membership) Order 19953 is hereby revoked.

This Order revokes the National Lottery Charities Board (Increase in Membership) Order 1995 (S.I. 1995 No. 1645), which increased the number of members of the National Lottery Charities Board to a chairman and twenty-one other members. The effect of the revocation of that Order is to reduce the membership back to a chairman and sixteen other members as originally provided for in the National Lottery etc. Act 1993.
