The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 16(2) and 20(9) of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999(1) and of all other powers conferred on him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) (Scotland) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 30th June 1999.
2. For the purposes of section 20(6) to (10) of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999, the day appointed as the end of the transitional period for Scotland is 30th June 1999.

This Order appoints 30th June 1999 as the day on which the transitional period for Scotland ends for the purposes of the appeal provisions of the Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Act 1999.
