The National Heritage (Scotland) Act 1985 is amended as follows.

In section 22 (finance)–
a
in subsection (1) “such” and “as the Treasury may approve” are omitted; and
b
in subsection (3) “with Treasury approval” is omitted.

In section 23(1) (power of Secretary of State to make grants)74 “such” and “as the Treasury may approve” are omitted.

In Part I of Schedule 1 (the Board of the National Museums of Scotland)–
