Coming into force

The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 19911 and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19842, and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:–

Commencement and citation1

This Order may be cited as The A1 Trunk Road (Islington) Red Route Traffic Order 1993 Variation Order (No. 2) 1999, and shall come into force on 28th May 1999.

Variations

The A1 Trunk Road (Islington) Red Route Traffic Order 19933 is varied by the following provisions of this Order.

In schedule 4 the text “NO STOPPING AT ANY TIME” is substituted as follows:

PART INO STOPPING AT ANY TIME WITH CERTAIN EXEMPTIONS FOR PICKING UP & SETTING DOWN

In schedule 4 item 49 is substituted as follows:

From a point 95.0 metres south of the southern kerbline of Duncan Street to its junction with Pentonville Road.

In schedule 4 the following text is added after item 65 as follows:
