Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) Order 1999 Revocation Order 1999 and shall come into force at 13.00 hours on 16th April 1999.

This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) Order 1999 which prohibited–
fishing for or taking scallops within the area designated in the Schedule to that Order (article 4);
movement of such scallops out of that area (article 5);
landing, using in the preparation or processing for supply of food of, supplying and other specified activities in relation to, such scallops from the designated area within the United Kingdom (article 6).
The effect of this Order is to remove completely the prohibition on fishing for, taking, moving, landing, using in food production and supplying scallops from the designated area.
