Transitional provisions23.

(1)

These Rules shall not apply where:–

(a)

money has been:–

(i)

lodged; or

(ii)

appropriated,

in satisfaction of a claim before 26th April 1999; and

(b)

any time limit in which that money may be accepted and paid out without an order of the court has not expired on 26th April 1999.

(2)

In the circumstances set in paragraph (1), the Court Funds Rules 19874 shall apply as if they had not been amended by these Rules.
